Welcome to My Photo Gallery

I am not a great photographer neither do I have a very fancy camera. But I like taking pictures. This is to share with you all the nice places and moments I have seen. I hope that you will like some of the pictures I have taken with my not so good camera. So take the plunge and enjoy.

The Wonders of the Ajanta Caves
The horse-shoe shaped array of caves in Ajanta is the most fascinating monument of India's ancient glory and cultural superiority. There are thirty-six caves on top of a mountain. There is a river flowing at the bottom of the mountain. Magnificent paintings and sculptures cover each of the cave walls. It is an intimidating and overwhelming experience to stand spellbound in these caves and realize that these creations are there for more than two millennia. Standing there, one forgets all barriers and revels on the glory of the human race.

Illora
This is another magnificent monument bearing the signature of the glory of ancient Indian culture. Illora was created during 200 B.C. to 200 A.D.. It is famous for it's temples and caves all curved out from a single mountain. There are thirty-two caves and temples. Each of them is full of magnificent sculptures. The main temple is two storied and has a very intricate design. I have tried to catch glimpses of the spellbinding creation.

Goa
If you are a fun loving person, like natural beauty and want to bask in the sunny beaches, then Goa is the ideal place for you. Enjoy pictures of sunny beaches, coconut trees and nice country-like scenery of one of the most famous beaches in the world.

Mumbai
Mumbai is one of the biggest metros of India. But being a city it does not have much scenic beauty. Still Elephanta caves, Gateway of India and the "U" shaped coast line at the Marine Drive are probably the most scenic. And if I might add, anyone who knows Mumbai, knows that Marine Drive during sunset is the ideal place for a close and romantic date.

Daulatabad
Daulatabad is a city near the middle of India. It is famous for the fort on top of a mountain called Daulatabad fort, Biwi Ka Makwara, an attempt to copy the Taj Mahal by a son of Aurangjeb with a lot less funding and of course the Illora caves.

Alps - A Bird's View
Enjoy the snowy ranges of the Alps.

Minneapolis
These are some pictures of the Minneapolis downtown and a little here and there around it.

Paris & Blois
Paris deffinitely does not require any introduction. Blois is north of Paris and in the Loire valley. Its a picturesque quiet city full of chateus and cathedrals.
